Reflect

It’s easier to forgive others than it is to forgive ourselves. We can be our own worst critic because of the lies we tell and believe about ourselves. But self-accusation isn’t holy; it’s a weight Jesus never asked us to carry.

Pray

Jesus,
I give you my regret.
Help me to believe that your mercy
is big enough for even my mistakes.
Teach me to forgive myself.

Act

Write down one thing you’ve struggled to forgive yourself for. Speak aloud: “God forgives me. I can forgive myself too.” Then, tear it up.
