Dear God,
I am troubled by
the violence I see every day—
by the anger and conflict
among people and nations.
But I know that you bless those
who foster peace in this world—
and it can begin with me.
Show me how to cultivate peace
and to bring it into
my heart,
my home,
and the world around me.
Amen.
