A very popular quote from TV’s Mister Rogers reminds us that in times of need we all should look for the caregivers. That’s a very good reminder, too, because at some point in our lives, we are all going to need help. We will likely also be called upon to offer help for others.
Pray
Dear God,
give me the strength
to reach out for help
when I need it most.
Remind me that there is no weakness
in seeking help.
Likewise, lead me to places
where I can assist others
in their times of need.
May we all remember
to reach out and lift each other up
for the glory of God.

Act
Seek out an act of service today. It doesn’t have to be big. Acts of service can be as simple as calling and checking on your parents, helping your child with homework, or being a listening ear for a friend.
