Reflect
We live in a world and a time that emphasizes independence, that encourages each of us to go our own way, to find our own path. And yet from the very beginning all of creation seems to tell us: It is not good to be alone. In fact, the need for community is a reflection of God’s Divine nature: the Trinity.
Pray
Dear Lord, open my eyes to my dependence on others,
let me receive their need for me
as an opportunity to reflect the love of the Trinity.
May the individual freedom that I enjoy
flourish alongside a healthy camaraderie with others.
Act
Ask someone to help you with a chore today, even if it is something you could easily do alone. Offer your gesture as a prayer to the Trinity.
