The saints are popular because they are holy and wholly relatable: Often we can find aspects of their lives that mirror our own. May this prayer bring us closer to these holy women and men of God.

Dear God,
You gave us the saints
as models to live by—
guideposts along our spiritual journey.
Teach me to give
as they gave,
love as they loved,
and praise you
as they praised you.
As a saint in the making,
may their grace
be my compass.
Amen.
