The Church is called to go to all the nations to make disciples. That’s a big task, but the “good news” today is that we are equipped to carry out that mission.

Sometimes Jesus seems absent, yet He is never absent for long. Jesus invites us to look for His presence and action in our lives.

Here are five simple, at-home exercises to keep our hearts and bodies strong.

Next to Mary, the mother of Jesus, there was no one closer to Jesus than Joseph, the spouse of Mary and the carpenter of Nazareth.

A visionary, Mother Teresa comforted the sick as they wrestled with death. No person was beyond her capacity for love and compassion.

Lent is an ideal time for lectio divina, praying with Scripture. Mary can show us the way.

As Catholic parents, we play an important role as models and primary educators in the faith for our children. Just as we guide and nurture them spiritually as they grow, we do the same for their personal development as well. But what happens if your child doesn’t exactly toe the line you’ve laid out for him or her?

When I run, there is always a celebration of the body and soul. One reason is this: I run in sacramental environments, where there is a physical and spiritual poetry to my surroundings.
