Regardless of our family of origin experience, each of us is a part of a much wider, expansive family—the human family. We may not always remember, but each of us contributes and plays a role in how we love and care for our earthly home.

Dear Holy Spirit, open my eyes
and help me to see new ways
I can love my earthly home.
Teach me what it means to care for creation
and be a good steward.
Point out creative ways I can advocate
for the care of God’s creation in all forms.
Show me where I fail and how I can do better.
Amen.
