It’s a great privilege to experience God’s creation and meet the people who so uniquely and wonderfully reflect him. As we discern travel in our future and step across borders and boundaries, let us travel with a transformed sense of gratitude, openness, and empathy.
Pray
God of creation, reveal yourself to us in every person
and every place we may visit around this world.
May we behold your creation with a new sense of wonder and awe.
We ask for the grace to discover you anew
in different cultures, places, and people.
Those encounters are ripe with the opportunity
for an exchange of values and experiences.
Invigorate in us the willingness to let these cultural exchanges
change us for the better.
