Christians should be awake and attentive–alert in hope, confident in the conviction that God wants us to be saved and be with him.
Saint Paul says that when Christ comes again, he will bring with him the faithful who have already died. Then we the living will be assumed into the glory of the Lord.
The practice of charity belongs in the life of every believer. It is to be a tranquil practice, calmly exercised–a practice that fits in quietly with their ordinary work and responsibility.
Christian believers of today live in a world in which sexual behavior calls for special attention. We need to be attentive to the Holy Spirit we have received.
The life of the individual Christian believer is directed toward growth in love. All Christian ministry is directed toward preparing people for the second coming of the Lord.
Jesus says what’s wrong with the scribes and Pharisees is that they are hypocrites. To some extent each of us is a hypocrite because none of us expresses in our actions the full limitations of our hearts.
