Saint Hubert’s Story

Saint Hubert was the Bishop of Maastricht, Netherlands, and was a disciple of Saint Lambert. Prior to his ecclesiastical life, Hubert served in the court of Pepin of Heristal, France. After his wife died, Saint Hubert entered Stavelot Monastery in Belgium and was ordained. Later, he succeeded Saint Lambert as bishop of Liege, France where he erected a shrine for the relics of Saint Lambert.

He was known for performing miracles and for converting hundreds. He died at Tervueren, near Brussels, Belgium.
