There is no facet of the human experience that Mary, our universal mother, cannot understand. In times of unrest—in the world or in our hearts—Our Lady is ready to help us. We need only turn to her.
Pray
Mother Mary,
You understand not only
the conflicts in our world
but the conflicts in my mind.
I search for peace because
I know you and your son await me there.
Guide me through this forest
of deep sadness
to a clearing where the light can reach me.
That light, your son—is our reward.
Amen.
