This time of year, people in various places may notice something odd. A procession of animals, everything from dogs and cats to hamsters and even horses, is led to churches for a special ceremony called the Blessing of Pets. 

My experience with Michael—and others who have touched my life—seems as though God sent my guardian angel in human form. Reflecting on how God has entered my life through “angels,” I realized that my prayer also led me to ponder ways in which God called me to be one for others.

Is there anyone more idealistic than the parents of a newborn? We looked at that baby in endless fascination, overcome with awe and with fear: awe at this creation that we held in our hands and fear of the responsibility for raising this child to adulthood.

Reconciliation requires that we establish, or reestablish, some type of relationship between the two persons. This is never easy.
